Keemun Tea: The Burgundy of Black Teas

Keemun (Qimen) Mao Feng is Anhui Province's storied black tea, one of the few Chinese teas used as the base of English Breakfast blends. Its unique character — a complex blend of wine, chocolate, orchid, and a signature 'Keemun aroma' (Qihong Xiang) — comes from the region's cool, high-humidity climate and the specific local tea cultivar. Best brewed at 90°C for 2-3 minutes. Multiple infusions reveal different facets.
